Over the past decade, Brandon has established himself as a leader in Canada’s commercial mortgage industry. He continues to oversee a portfolio of clients, which includes Western Canada’s most active real estate owners and developers. Having funded more than $5.0 Billion in commercial mortgage transactions, Brandon remains at the forefront of the debt markets in tandem with building Canada ICI’s national origination team.

Brandon remains active within the community and sits on the board of Trustees for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, which remains among the best children’s hospitals in the country and the most specialized in all of Western Canada.


Nathan Charrois is a Senior Relationship Manager with ATB Real Estate. With over 15 years of banking experience, Nathan has supported many business owners with financing for projects across the province. Nathan was born and raised near Edmonton and he has a passion for finding creative borrowing solutions for his real estate clients. He is a champion of diversity and inclusion and strives to make banking more inclusive for all. In his spare time, you can find Nathan running along Edmonton’s river valley trails year-round.

Zorya Belanger
BREI Properties

Zorya Belanger is a former professional engineer turned real estate investing entrepreneur and coach. She is the founder of BREI Properties, a company that owns and operates multifamily rental properties. Zorya bought her first property in 2010 and now has nearly $21M in Assets Under Management (AUM). Her primary focus in the Edmonton market is purpose-built affordable row housing. As the syndicator, she is the magic behind how it happens... bringing together the team, the property, and the capital.

As a mom of 2 young kids, she also enjoys inspiring and helping other women and couples invest in real estate to create the life they want. She leads the Edmonton InvestHER Meetup Chapter, co-hosts the MultifamilyHER YouTube channel, and is on the board of directors of the Edmonton Real Estate Investors Association.

Jarrett is a Vice President with Avison Young. Prior to joining Avison Young, Jarrett's career saw him gain experience in a variety of different commercial real estate roles as a Development Manager, CFO, Principal, and Advisor. This blend of experience allows him to bring a range of skills and unique insights to the table for his clients.

Jarrett has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from the University of Alberta, and holds a CPA, CA designation.

Jonathan is a real estate development executive and Professional Engineer with demonstrated leadership, management and organizational abilities. He is experienced in the acquisition, financing, development and sale of large real estate assets up to $2 billion. In 2019, Jonathan was named one of Edmonton’s “Top 40 Under 40” by Avenue Magazine, and received the Green Building Pioneer Award, honourable mention.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has been actively involved in industry associations, such as the Urban Development Institute and the Canadian Home Builders Association, participating on committees such as Government Relations, Member Relations, Planning and Transportation and the St. Albert regional committee. Jonathan has also served as a Director for the Alberta Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council. Jonathan is excited to bring his experience in development to IDEA and support the organization with initiatives such as affordable housing, green infrastructure, etc.
